Gas prices

This is hard to say without sounding bad - hope I don't insult anyone.... lol

the time frame where gas went from $0.99 to $2.50 is less than 10 years (and there also wasn't an increase in minimum wage to help the working poor during this time).

I dont know the actual time frame where gas went from $0.27 to $0.99, but it was a much larger stretch of time (barring the 70s oil crisis which did correct).

Inflation in general does not match this increase.

I remember gas being 24 cents my first summer home from the Army. My how things have changed.

The summer before the oil crisis gas was 32 cents, five years later, it was over a dollar.

maybe it's not bush's fault it may have something to do with the 911 attacks, or the tsunami disaster, or possibly hurricane katrina, or possibly the fact that all these "environmentalist" don't want to allow us to drill in alaska where he know there is tons of oil. but since you are against bush your probably one of those folks who believe that George W. is behind all of those things.

hahahaha...keep dreamin those conservative republican dreams..and givin the same excuses...911 didn't force us to go to war in Iraq based on the bush administrations lies...and last season there were nearly NO hurricanes...be a sheep and follow the propaganda machine or learn to think for yourself, open your eyes, and see the light.

oops i forget i'm really sorry about that seriously and i really appreciate what you guys do i wasn't paying attention i thought maybe he was one of those 13 year old punks on here talking about things they only know about what they learn in school id say being there you know more than me it's just that there's so many punks on this board itching for fights, i'm starting to get a little edgy.
